| Alfred McAlpine to help homeless people this Christmas Alfred McAlpine announced its continued involvement with Crisis, the UK's best-known homelessness charity. This is the 11th year the support services group has taken part in the charity's Christmas card challenge which last year raised over £700, 000 to help homeless people rebuild their lives. Alfred McAlpine will again donate its corporate Christmas card budget to the charity, pledging £25,000 towards Crisis' ongoing work among some of the UK's most vulnerable people. Instead of sending a traditional 'hard card', the business will be conveying the season's greetings with an animated e-card and via the charity's double page spread in the Financial Times on 4 and 18 December. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Construction News :: home page |
