Turner Construction won three new contracts

Turner Corp., Hochtief's U.S. unit, has won three new contracts in the healthcare and educational segments. The Turner subsidiary Tompkins Builders Inc. will serve as the general contractor in the construction of St. Elizabeth Hospital in Washington, D.C., and will also construct an addition to Langley Air Force Base Hospital in Virginia. In addition, Turner Construction was selected as general contractor for the construction of a new high school in West Sacramento, California. The three contracts represent a combined volume of EUR 231 million (USD 303 million).

Turner is among the leading construction companies in the US healthcare market. With the new contracts, it this year already acquired hospital contracts worth roughly EUR 1.3 billion (USD 1,7 billion), including the cancer center at Yale-New Haven Hospital in Connecticut, the construction of the new Provena Saint Joseph Hospital in Elgin and the Medical Center in Springfield, Oregon.
