| Hochtief won prize for ’Best Sustainability Report - First Report’ The Hochtief sustainability report "Bring Space to Life" has won the 2006 German Environmental Reporting Award (DURA) in a contest to select the best corporate environmental and sustainability reports in Germany. Michael Müller, Parliamentary State Secretary in the Germany Ministry of the Environment presented the award at a ceremony held at Auditors House in Berlin. Hochtief receives the prize for the best first report in the category sustainability reporting. The company has set new standards in environmental protection and energy-saving in the form of "Green Buildings". Hochtief is also extensively active in social projects. The Chamber of Auditors, the professional organization of all auditors and certified accountants in Germany, has been awarding the prize annually since 1998 to promote sustainability reporting and the reputation of business companies in the environmental sector. The submitted reports are appraised by an interdisciplinary team of journalists and advertising professionals, representatives of industry, auditors and environmental experts. In September 2006, Hochtief was already honored for its sustainability management when the company's share was included in the renowned Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI).
