| Carillion secures contract with Norwich Union Construction and services company Carillion has secured a contract to provide Claims Management for Norwich Union's property-related insurance claims. The three-year contract is worth £120 million a year. Key features of the new contract include the creation of six regional customer centres in the South-east, South-west, the Midlands, Yorkshire, the North-west and Scotland and the use of leading-edge web-portal technology, which provides Norwich Union with up-to-date contract information. The new contract commences later this year. The transition to the regionalised facilities will take place during 2006 and be fully operational by mid 2007.
