| Barratt voted Britain's best housebuilder  Barratt has been voted Britain's "Housebuilder of the Year" in the coveted What House? Awards, regarded as the building industry's Oscars, and also scooped six other top awards. Companies were assessed on every aspect of their performance, from design, product range, build quality, value for money and marketing, to after sales service and customer care. This is the seventh time that Barratt has won the overall "Housebuilder of the Year" title - more than any other builder.
