| New pump for industrial applications Watson-Marlow Bredel announces the heavy-duty SPX20 pump for challenging industrial applications. The SPX reliably handles a variety of harsh materials, including viscous, corrosive and abrasive slurries. New to the SPX family of pumps, the SPX20 has a maximum continuous flow of 2.7gpm with pressure capabilities to 109psi. Advanced hose technology enables the SPX to pump harsh chemicals dependably for a long period of time. Peristaltic hose pumps are virtually maintenance-free, with no expensive seals to replace, no check valves to clog, and no rotors and stators to wear out. The highly abrasive nature of particulate laden slurries does not affect pump life. With its self-loading design, hose replacement is quick and easy.
