Bouygues Immobilier launches Maisons Elоka

Bouygues Immobilier has expanded its offer with the launch of a new line of high-quality detached houses at affordable prices, aimed at households earning a net monthly income of less than €2,500. The new line will be marketed under the recently created brand "Maisons Elоka"."Maisons Elоka" will mainly be built in the greater Paris region, as well as in the suburbs of major French cities, with small-scale programmes of roughly 40 houses. Five programmes are scheduled for 2007, or nearly 200 houses, and 1,000 houses will be built per year from 2010. Land is currently being acquired near Toulouse, Avignon and Rouen.

Bouygues Immobilier is thus addressing the needs of future home-buyers who cannot find housing to fit their budget, given that:

- 50% of households in France earning between €1,500 and €2,500 rent a home in the private sector, with rents accounting for an increasingly large proportion of monthly incomes mainly on account of higher rents in recent years,

- 45% of people living in the greater Paris region and 70% of inhabitants in the rest of France would like to own a home.
