| Redesigned Thermo-Dynamic steam trap  Spirax Sarco has released the newly redesigned Cool Blue UTD52S series of Thermo-Dynamic steam traps. The UTD52S, with a standard integral strainer and blowdown, is engineered for most all-drip and saturated or superheated steam applications with a maximum temperature of 750°F and a maximum pressure of 450 psig. The robust UTD52S series is highly thermally efficient. The smaller surface of the UTD52S cap reduces heat loss, and the ceramic insulator cover does not touch the cap, preventing heat conduction and lengthening cycles. The UTD52S series can be installed vertically or horizontally by means of an industry standard universal connector.Standard offering includes hardened stainless steel disc and seating surface; electroless nickel-plated cover; trap with integral strainer and blowdown; three-port balanced discharge for long lasting seat; and sizes ½", ¾" and 1" PT or SW.
