| Halcrow railway receives commendation at Concrete awards  The Docklands Light Railway Airport Extension Viaduct received a commendation at this year's Concrete Society awards. Halcrow as engineer on the project submitted a detailed application which led to the judges visiting the site for the day and receiving a tour of the project. The winner of the civil engineering category was the Central Park, Entrance Gateway project in Manchester.
