Solar systems on Pacific Gas and Electric facilities

Premier Power Renewable Energy will install solar systems on Pacific Gas and Electric facilities in San Francisco. The San Francisco Service Center projects will consist of static photovoltaic systems mounted on the roof and building façade, as well as an innovative 'Parque del Sol' carport structure that will track the sun throughout the day to produce renewable power while providing shade for the parking lot.

These systems, consisting in total of 1236 panels, will produce an estimated total of 420,100 kW hours of renewable, 'green' power that will have zero greenhouse gas emissions. The solar panel installation projects will begin in November 2006, and are targeted for completion in the first quarter of 2007.
