New solar panel mounting system

Sharp offers an all-in-one solar energy solution for residential or light commercial systems. Solar Racking System, SRS, includes 187-watt ND-187U1 solar modules, mounting structure and an inverter. It is ideal for both retrofit and new construction.

The ND-187U1 modules were designed for use with the SRS and are suitable for all sizes of residential and commercial grid-connected systems. The modules are gripped securely by Sharp's Talon clip, which integrates seamlessly so that no parts of the mounting structure are visible on the roof. Front-, top- and side-angled trim covers also provide a sleeker look and better aerodynamics to ensure a clean, architectural appearance.

A shared-rail system requires less rail than conventional systems, which means there are fewer rail lines to draw on the roof. The rails are conveniently pre-cut in a variety of lengths from one to four modules, and Sharp's slider assembly allows them to be adjusted vertically and horizontally for flexibility when positioning the mount on the roof. The sliders are equipped with built-in butyl sealant that automatically waterproofs all roof penetrations. Self-tapping screws eliminate the need to drill pilot holes, and the screws and bolts are standardized to minimize the number of tool changes.
