Bouygues to build motorway in Poland

Bouygues Construction, operating via its subsidiaries DTP Terrassement (lead firm of the consortium), Bouygues Travaux Publics and VSL, has won a contract worth 72 million euros for the construction of a section of the A4 motorway in Poland between Zgorzelec and Krzyzowa. The contract was signed with the Polish Department of Roads in the presence of the Polish Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski, the Transport Minister Jerzy Polczek and the French Consul General Sylvie de Bruchard.

Work on the contract will start in March 2007 and is due to be completed in late 2008. The project involves the construction of 22 kilometres of motorway, including 17 bridges and two rest areas with amenities, as well as several interchanges.
