Cavanagh joins PBS&J as Program Manager

Heather P. Cavanagh, P.E., has joined PBS&J's Jacksonville office as a program manager in its East Florida Water division. In this capacity, she will be responsible for project planning, design development, quality control and assurance, and project management for the North Florida Water/Wastewater program. A registered professional engineer in Florida, Cavanagh has more than ten years of experience in water, wastewater, and reuse system design projects, with an emphasis on treatment plant design.

Prior to PBS&J, Cavanagh served as project engineer for the installation of reuse and biological nutrient removal facilities at the Jacksonville Energy Authority's (JEA) District II Water Reclamation Facility (WRF), design of JEA's 20-mgd Ridenour Regional Water Treatment Plant, the City of Ocala's WRF No. 2 Reuse Modifications, and the design of the sodium hypochlorite generation facility for Orange County's Eastern Regional Water Treatment Plant. She is currently working on two countywide capital/facilities improvement plans for Orange County Utilities' water supply and water reclamation facilities.
