| Bechtel team in U.S. Challenge Bechtel's first-ever team to enter the BG U.S. Challenge placed third among 47 entrants and brought home several awards and trophies from the competition, which was held in the Roanoke Valley in Roanoke, Virginia Oct. 19-21. The Bechtel team was recognized as Best First Year Team and Most Intellectual Team, and for the most innovative fundraising idea. Additionally, the team earned top honors for raising the most money for Memphis-based St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the nonprofit partner associated with the event.
