| SunEdison delivers solar energy to CSU SunEdison will begin delivering solar energy service to California State University. The power plant, installed with 1,848 solar panels on the roofs of Yolo Hall and Acker Gym at CSU, will become operational in October 2006. Excess power generated by the system is fed directly to the PG&E grid. The solar power system provides enough power for approximately 70 homes, and reduces carbon dioxide emissions produced by the equivalent of approximately 430 commuter vehicles. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Construction News :: home page |
