Sonoma Mountain Village complete with photovoltaic array

Sonoma Mountain Village dedicated the largest privately-owned solar array in California. The innovative live/work development is open for occupancy by businesses. The business center within this comprehensive 200-acre village, located on the former Agilent Technologies campus near Sonoma State University, is completely powered by solar electricity, thanks to use of 1.14 Megawatt solar array, designed and developed by PowerLight Corporation. There will be 2,000 residential units in the Village; new residents will be drawn to this new neighborhood by its high-tech industry jobs and environmentally conscious sensibilities.

Target clients for Sonoma Mountain Village will come from such fields as alternative energy, medical device research, high-tech, natural products and financial services.
