| New fast epoxy adhesive from Master Bond  Master Bond has developed EP51M, a fast '3 minute' set up epoxy adhesive for general purpose bonding. Bonded parts can be safely handled within a half an hour. EP51M produces durable high strength bonds having more than 2000 psi in shear. Bonds exhibit remarkable resistance to thermal cycling and chemicals including water, oil and most organic solvents, over the wide temperature range of 4°K to 120°C. Master Bond EP51M has good adhesion to metals, glass, ceramics, wood, vulcanized rubbers and many plastics. The bonding strength is relatively insensitive to cleaning procedures.EP51M is mixed in small quantities because of its fast gelling properties. It is highly recommended for high speed bonding operations and production line assemblies. Master Bond EP51M is widely used in the electronic, electrical, computer, construction, metalworking, appliance, automotive and chemical industries. EP51M is a suitable adhesive/sealant for cryogenic applications as it is serviceable at temperatures down to 4°K.
