| New device solves sewage problems Waste Tec has developed the Pit Evacuator which improves movement of solids in Waste Water Lift Station/Wet Weels either new or used. Installation will eliminate the need to ever clean these stations by vac truck, which is now the practice. The Pit Evacuator eliminates most objectionable odors. All this is accomplished by attaching the Pit Evacuator to one of the new or existing pump discharge lines. When waste water is moving through the discharge line, some of the discharge water is forced through a venturi which creates a vacuum, and pulls the grease and floating solids through the venturi, then discharges the mixture into the bottom of the pit which forces the sand and grit to be mixed so pumps can send it all to the treatment plant to be treated instead of other costly and hazardous methods.
