| Amec to provide project management services in China Amec has been appointed by PetroChina Guangxi Petrochemical Company (GXPC) as its project management contractor for the development of a US$1.6bn grassroots refinery in Qinzhou in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, south-western China. Amec's contract is worth US$16m.
