Skanska takes a charge of SEK 67 M

The Slovakian Council of the Anti-Monopoly Office has issued a decision regarding an alleged price fixing arrangement in the tendering for the D1 road project in Slovakia. This means that Skanska will take a charge of SEK 67 M in the third quarter 2006.

According to the decision, fines have been imposed on all six companies involved in the tendering, in which Skanska was part of a joint venture led by a local Slovakian company. Skanska disagrees with the Council's decision and is now considering further legal actions.
