| New composite tube offers high machineability  Norplex-Micarta announces RT628, a phenolic-paper composite tube material with superior machining characteristics. RT628 provides both electrical insulation and moisture resistance, making it ideal for use in electrical or general-purpose applications such as: inserts, bushings, washers, rollers, collars, spacers, sleeves, guide tubes, and processing rollers. The machining properties of RT628 also make it ideal for smaller, more complex components that require challenging machining patterns.
