| Northwire introduces DataCell Foundation fieldbus cable  Northwire has introduced DataCell Foundation fieldbus cable. This cable is appropriate for rugged plant environments that use networked discrete or process automation and control. DataCell Foundation fieldbus cable is the cable that is rated for instrument tray cable/power limited tray cable exposed-run applications. This allows users to eliminate the conduit when the cable is installed in accordance with recent National Electrical Code amendments. DataCell cable complies with Foundation fieldbus H1 specification for type 'A'. The cable is available in 18AWG with a foil or braided shield, and with or without ground wire.The cable's PVC jacket is resistant to oil, sunlight and water, and is available in standard and custom colors and versions.
