Jacobs receives contract in England

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. announced that a subsidiary company received a contract to provide a wide range of professional services to the Highways Agency.

An executive agency of the Department for Transport, the Highways Agency is responsible for operating, maintaining, and improving the strategic road network in England.

The four-year contract, part of the national Project Support Framework, will see Jacobs deliver the early project planning services for the Agency up to the stage where an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) appointment is made.

At later stages, the framework will be used to provide resources to assist the Highways Agency project leaders in managing the progress of projects through statutory processes, design, and construction.
