Double Pulse Cutting band saw from Amada

Amada Cutting Technologies introduced the PCSAW700 equipped with the innovations in metal sawing. The Amada technology, Double Pulse Cutting, is to achieve maximum blade efficiency by reducing vibration and cutting resistance. The machine has a cutting capacity up to 27.6" diameter round or 31.5" x 27.6" rectangle materials. Vibration has always been an inherent characteristic of metal sawing. Amada teamed up with a Japanese motor manufacture to develop a 'special pulse' drive motor to virtually eliminate the vibrations created during the longitudinal force.

Amada's Engineering Department expanded on this to eliminate the vibrations created during the penetration force, thus Double Pulse Cutting.
