Packaging triplets in Nuremberg

The Nürnberg family of packaging exhibitions has some impressive growth to report: 1,323 exhibitors (2004: 1,157, +14 %) have completely booked up the available space. FachPack (packaging solutions), PrintPack (package printing and packaging supplies production) and LogIntern (in-plant logistics) invite the trade to this industry occasion in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg at the new running time from Tuesday to Thursday (26-28 September).

The efficient German packaging industry is traditionally strongly represented, this time with another clear increase to 1,077 companies (+10 %), but 246 foreign companies, mainly from the neighbouring countries of Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Italy, France and the Czech Republic, also present their products and services for the well over 30,000 trade visitors expected (2004: 29,260).

The business barometer therefore points to very sunny for exhibitors and visitors at the Nürnberg exhibition trio, one of the most important packaging exhibitions in Central Europe. About the products on display: Around one third of the exhibitors in Nürnberg are present with packaging machinery. Another approx. one third show packaging materials and supplies and packaging ancillaries. These are supplemented by the important labelling and marking equipment and products for package recycling and package testing. PrintPack focuses on package and label printing, design, finishing and packaging supplies production. The exhibitors at LogIntern present transport and conveying systems, loading equipment, storage and order-picking systems, information systems and control systems. Growth is reported from all segments in 2006, but mainly packaging materials and supplies and packaging ancillaries, which means FachPack is expanding its recognized competence particularly in this segment, and packaging machinery.
