| Sanyo releases new solar module for residential use Sanyo Electric has released the 195W HIT solar battery module, HIP Series and 2.7k PowerConditioner, SSI Series for small to large systems in Japan. The HIP-195N1, the new type of 195W HIT Solar module, upgraded output by an increase of 5W with a cell efficiency rate of 19.1% compared with the conventional 18.6%. Module exchange efficiency also achieves 16.6% compared with the conventional 16.2%. Sanyo's power conditioner is intended for small sytem use, with an industry-leading exchange efficiency rate of 94.5 % in an under 3kW environment. When used in conjunction with the HIT solar cell modules, it can be attached to the roof of a shed.
