| DeWALT introduces specialty brad nailer DeWALT introduces its heavy-duty 18 Ga 1¼" brad nailer kit, heavy-duty 1" narrow crown stapler kit, and heavy-duty 1½" narrow crown stapler kit. The brad nailer and narrow crown stapler kits are ideal for many specialty applications, including installing trim or stair molding, door and window casings, cabinetry trim and backing, as well as interior and exterior trim work. DeWALT designed the D51236K, D51420K and D51422K to ensure maximum durability and reliability for a variety of jobsite applications. With each unit weighing below 3.3 pounds, the lightweight brad nailer and narrow crown finish staplers are each protected by a sturdy, magnesium body which allows the tools to survive drops and withstand jobsite abuse. For additional durability, the injection molded grip of the brad nailer and narrow crown finish staplers is resistant against ripping and tearing, and helps reduce the fatigue of the end user. Each tool is also equipped with a trigger lock-off, a safety feature that allows the trigger to be disabled when it is not in use to prevent accidental discharge. The D51420K and D51422K both hold 100 staples ranging from ½" to 1" and ½" to 1½" respectively. The D51236K brad nailer will hold 110 brad nails ranging from 5/8" to 1¼". All three tools can be used on both hard and soft woods. For increased jobsite performance, the brad nailer and narrow crown finish staplers are each equipped with a tool-free depth adjustment that allows the user to quickly set the depth for proper nail countersink. In addition, each tool was designed with a low profile no-mar pad and a swept back contact trip to provide end users with a clean line of sight for easy and accurate fastener placement. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Construction News :: home page |
