| Hochtief builds arena and shopping center in Czech Republic Hochtief has secured two new construction contracts in the Czech Republic with a total volume of around EUR 77 million. Hochtief VSB, a subsidiary of Hochtief Construction AG, is to build a multi-functional arena in Prague and a shopping and entertainment center in Plzen. In the Eden district of Prague, Hochtief, as general contractor, is to build a new arena for Czech premier soccer division club Slavia Prague. The complex, with a contract volume of about EUR 35 million, is scheduled to be completed by March 2008. The Shopping Center Plaza in Plzen will comprise a three-story building for shopping and also a large cinema complex with ten theaters and covered parking for 450 vehicles.
