Sealant redesigns material dispense valves

Sealant Equipment & Engineering's re-design of its 2200-Series mid-size dispense valves improves dispensing and operating performance for the user. The new design of these one-piece body valves includes the No-Drip, Snuf-Bak and Tip-Seal fluid-dispense-valve product families.

Two new design features of the 2200-Series valves are a new needle for fluid-flow control and a new bearing-fastening design for the needle bearing. The new needle has an improved coating for longer needle-shaft and seal life, and eliminates a part for simpler assembly. The new bearing-fastener design allows easy bearing replacement and maintains alignment with the needle shaft for improved seal life.

The re-designed mid-size dispense valve models are No-Drip 2200-911 and 2200-044, Snuf-Bak 2200-727 and 2200-717, and Tip-Seal 2200-1051. These pneumatically actuated valves are designed to dispense adhesives, sealants and lubricants such as epoxies, silicones, polyurethanes, PVC sealers and mastics.

The No-Drip valves are designed for low-viscosity pourable materials. Snuf-Bak valves are ideal for dispensing high-viscosity non-level seeking materials, and the Tip-Seal zero-cavity design is ideal for precision dispensing of low- to high-viscosity flowable materials. Material is delivered to the valves by either a metering assembly or under regulated pressure from supply tanks or pumps available from Sealant Equipment & Engineering.
