John Holland wins Cronulla Line Duplication

Australian contracting group John Holland has been awarded the $140 million design and construction contract for the Cronulla Line Duplication in Sydney by the NSW Transport Infrastructure Development Corporation.

The Cronulla Line Duplication Project is part of the NSW Government’s Rail Clearways Program, designed to improve capacity and reliability on the metropolitan rail network. The project involves the construction of a second track on two sections of the Cronulla Branch Line between Sutherland to Gymea and Caringbah to Cronulla.

The project also includes the improvement of a number of road and rail bridges, and works at Sutherland, Kirrawee, Woolooware and Cronulla Stations.
