| Morgan Est to upgrade Esholt sewage works Leading UK infrastructure services company Morgan Est has been awarded a £39 million contract by Yorkshire Water to upgrade Esholt's sewage treatment works in Bradford and parts of North Leeds. Working with Leeds-based engineering consultants Carl Bro, the company will be carrying out Phase 2 of the improvement works under the Yorkshire Water Large Schemes Framework which involves replacing a secondary treatment plant and equipment with a new activated sludge process. The extensive redevelopment of the plant will also ensure environmental compliance with the Freshwater Fish Directive which comes into force in 2010. The works are due for completion in mid 2009. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Construction News :: home page |
