Arup plans new terminal at Dublin Airport

Arup has been selected as lead designer and project manager in a team that includes Pascall+Watson Architects and Mace for the new second terminal at Dublin Airport.

The terminal will cost €395 million while the entire scheme, including supporting infrastructure, is valued at €609 million.

Design work began in January 2006 and a planning application for the project was submitted to Fingal County Council in August. The project is due to start on site in the first quarter of 2007 with an anticipated operational date for the terminal and pier of autumn 2009.
