| URS-led joint venture awarded FEMA contract URS Corporation announced that the company, as the managing partner of a joint venture with Fairfax, VA-based Dewberry, has been awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract by the U. S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to provide technical support for FEMA's Public Assistance Program throughout the United States and its territories. Under the terms of the contract, as FEMA issues specific task orders, URS will provide engineering and architectural services following Presidentially declared major disasters and emergencies, which may include hurricanes, tornadoes, storms, earthquakes, fires, floods or explosions.
