Acciona promoted Spanish culture at Regent Street in London

On Sunday 3 September, Acciona Trasmediterránea, the principal passenger and freight transport company in Spain and one of the biggest in Europe, sponsored the Regent Street Festival under the slogan 'A walk through Spain', whose aim was to promote the traditions of Spain's various regions on one of London's top shopping streets.

Acciona Trasmediterránea sponsored Heddon Street, just off Regent Street, where some of London's most famous restaurants are located; Heddon Street concentrated a large proportion of festival-goers as it was the only location with music all day long.

Under the slogan 'Get to Spain the Spanish style', as part of the company's move to strengthen its international strategy by opening up new markets in northern Europe, ten mini-cruises for two people, which include a 4-hour visit to Bilbao, were raffled among festival-goers and a range of promotional gifts were distributed.

Acciona Trasmediterránea is part of Acciona, one of Spain's largest companies in the fields of transportation, renewable energy, water, urban and environmental services, construction, home building, hospital management and other activities.
