| New valve for tough environments Philadelphia Scientific has introduced the Instant Valve Pro on/off valve for battery watering systems, an optional upgrade to the standard Instant Valve. Featuring a heavy duty brass valve body that is abuse resistant, the new valve was designed specifically for customers in facilities with extraordinarily abusive conditions. The Instant Valve Pro, which can be ordered at an additional cost, is compatible with all Philadelphia Scientific Injector Water Supplies and easy self-installation makes upgrading simple. Instant Valve and Instant Valve Pro control water flow into a Water Injector System from a water supply. Squeezing the ergonomically designed handle activates a Rapid Response Valve that actuates on contact-so there is no way to choke or throttle the water flow. A flow indicator provides visual indication that the Water Injector string is full, helping to minimize the risk of overfilling a battery.
