| ACE Mentor Program arrives in area ACE Mentor Program of America, Inc. announces the formation of a local affiliate, ACE Mentor Program of Northeast Florida, Inc. ACE is an after-school program that gives students a hands-on introduction to architecture, engineering and construction. The program was founded in 1995 in one city with 30 students and has grown so that in 2005 the program has teams in 80 cities who mentored more than 5,000 students. Ninety-two percent of the students that participate in the program go on to college.
