Clark completes first phase of military housing at Fort Irwin

Clark Construction Group − California, LP completed the first phase of military housing improvements at Fort Irwin, six weeks ahead of schedule. The development, known as Crackerjack Flats, features 241 new single-family and duplex houses.

Military personnel and their families began occupying the first homes last summer. The houses have been turned over for occupancy at an average rate of 24 per month to reduce the waiting list for on-base housing.

This phase also included construction of a maintenance facility for one of the project's partners, Pinnacle Properties, which is managing the leasing and maintenance of base housing over a 50-year period. Pinnacle is in partnership with Clark Realty Capital and the U.S. Army in this privatized-housing project.

Fort Irwin is located approximately 37 miles northeast of Barstow, California in the High Mojave Desert midway between Las Vegas, Nevada and Los Angeles, California.
