| Thiess secures mining contract at Prominent Hill Thiess Pty Ltd has been confirmed as the mining contractor for the Prominent Hill Copper-Gold project, following an Oxiana Limited Board of Directors meeting. The contract, worth approximately $800M in value, will see Thiess provide mining services for the extraction of approximately 153 million cubic metres (bcms) of overburden and waste, and 38 million tonnes of treatable ore, over a six year period.
