| Halcrow Yolles to work on Scotland's new sports arena Halcrow Yolles has been commissioned to work on the new National Indoor Sports Arena and Velodrome in Glasgow, Scotland. Glasgow City Council has appointed Halcrow Yolles as civil and structural engineers for this exciting project, which will enhance Glasgow's ambitions to host the 2014 Commonwealth games to the city. The development will include an indoor cycling velodrome, which will help to build on the successes of gold medal winners such as Craig McLean and Chris Hoy, who currently have to train outwith Scotland. It will also help to generate local interest in cycling.
