Parsons/SRS team supports the DNDO program

Parsons and SRS Technologies will work closely with three manufacturers that were recently awarded $1.157 billion in contracts by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Domestic Nuclear Detection Office (DNDO) to begin production of detection systems for its Advanced Spectroscopic Portal (ASP) program.

Parsons and SRS will develop a high-fidelity testing program to meet the challenges of reliably detecting nuclear materials, including highly enriched uranium and weapons-grade plutonium. Parsons and SRS have been providing systems engineering to the DNDO in the design, development, acquisition, and deployment of the ASP program since its inception.

The ASP program is part of the Department of Homeland Security's broader strategy to manage risks, focus on the greatest threats, and harness cutting-edge technologies to enhance the security of the United States.
