| Specialized event on tourism and construction in Antalya One of the major worldwide events specialized on tourism facilities and investments, the 14th International Baucon Yapex Exhibition, will take place on 2-5 November 2006 in Antalya, the tourism capital of Turkey. Organized annually by Akdeniz Tanitim A.S. in collaboration with the German Exhibitions Group Messe München, the Baucon Yapex Exhibition has become a decision place for many tourism investors, pointing a growing emphasis of the fair in the market. Tourism investors will come together with over 300 building materials companies to make decisions about the latest materials and technologies to be used in tourism investments. In 2005, over 300 companies exhibited in the Baucon Yapex Exhibition and almost 25.000 people visited the fair in Antalya. Tourism facilities in Antalya consist of almost 60% of all facilities in Turkey, and each year new investments are made in the region. In 2005, total number beds in new tourism facilities subject to government incentives were 59.000 in total, 40.000 of which were in Antalya. Baucon Yapex Exhibition will host the international symposiums and professional expositions organized by the Chamber of Architects and the Chamber of Civil Engineers on 2-5 November 2006.
