RiverCity Motorway to list on ASX

RiverCity Motorway Group said it would list on a conditional and deferred settlement basis on the Australian Stock Exchange, and expects to reach Financial Close with the Brisbane City Council.

The initial public offering (IPO) has been strongly supported by retail investors both in Queensland and outside Queensland through the broker firm offer and the public offer to Australian and New Zealand resident retail investors.

RiverCity Motorway Group, supported by Leighton Contractors, Baulderstone Hornibrook, Bilfinger Berger BOT and ABN AMRO Australia, has been awarded the 45 year concession by the Brisbane City Council to design, finance, construct and operate the North-South Bypass Tunnel in Brisbane. The North-South Bypass Tunnel Project is approximately 6.0 kilometres in length from end to end and includes a 4.8 kilometre tunnel as well as associated road connections to the Pacific Motorway and Ipswich Road in Woolloongabba, and the Inner-City Bypass and Lutwyche Road in Bowen Hills. The Project also includes a range of urban enhancements to surrounding suburbs. The opening of the NSBT is expected in the second half of 2010.
