| ABB wins $40 million in orders from Stadler Rail ABB, the leading power and automation technology group, has been awarded orders totaling some $40 million for power electronics traction equipment by Swiss train manufacturer Stadler Rail AG. ABB's scope of supply includes integrated traction drive and auxiliary power supply converters together with traction transformers. The equipment will be installed in 80 multiple-unit regional trains of the FLIRT (fast, light, integrated regional train) and GTW articulated rail car series.
