| Wolverine unveils a new lightweight Safety-Toe Wolverine introduced its latest advancement in safety work footwear components, the Wolverine CarbonX Advanced Safety-Toe. Offering the same ultimate protection as a traditional steel-toe, but at half the weight, Wolverine's CarbonX Advanced Safety-Toe will be available in hiker, six and eight-inch work boot styles. Utilizing the advanced carbon-fiber technology, Wolverine CarbonX styles are non-conductive to electricity and resist extreme cold and heat, thus creating safe, comfortable work footwear. The non-metallic carbon fiber weave and lacing components allows easy passage through high security areas. The Wolverine CarbonX Advanced Safety-Toe styles exceed ASTM F2413-05 I/75 C/75 standards. Stability is ensured with the help of a Wolverine Rubber Lug outsole while extra room in the toe-cap allows for a comfortable workday.
