New structural drying process

OneSource Cleaning Supply offers a new high-speed structural drying system that will change the restoration business and increase industry profits. Homes flooded by broken pipes or natural disasters can be dry in 30 hours or less with the help of a Thermal Energy System, TES, unit.

The TES runs with a total of just 33 amps, meaning that with a small 40 amp generator, you can dry a house in one day, even if the power is out. In the wake of damaging storms such as Katrina and Rita, this new method is invaluable.

The TES method produces heat, which is transferred from the system to the structure through TEX boxes. The boxes are equipped with fans to move the heat directly where it is needed. As surfaces within the structure heat up, they expel moisture at a rapid pace. The air in the structure is heated and expands, absorbing the moisture being expelled by the heated surfaces. The humid air is then forced out of the structure by a thermostat controlled exhaust system. The moisture continues to be forced into the air and the air continues to be cycled out of the structure until the structure is completely dry.
