| FCC and Sacyr to build and operate toll road in Ireland Ireland's National Roads Authority has selected the consortium consisting of FCC (45%), Sacyr (45%) and PJ Hegarty (10%) as preferred bidder for the contract to design, build, finance and operate the N6 Galway-Ballinasloe toll road, in Ireland. The plan to develop a toll road from Galway to Dublin along the strategic east-west corridor is one of the key goals of Ireland's National Development Plan 2000-2006. The concession will be for 30 or 35 years. Investment in road construction will total 288 million euro, and the total investment in the project will be approximately 350 million euro.
