SolarCraft completes Marin Builders solar electric system

Novato-based SolarCraft announced that it has completed the design and installation of a 24.5kW solar electric system for Marin Builders Association, MBA, offices in San Rafael, California.

The new system enables MBA to generate enough clean electricity each day to power 6 average homes. The new system will spare the air nearly 42 tons of harmful greenhouse gases annually. Over the next 30 years, the air pollution saved will be equivalent to driving over 2.8 million miles. The system will pay for itself in approximately 6 to 7 years.

The recently completed SolarCraft PV system provides 50% of the Association's electricity needs on an annual basis.
