The Home Depot offers online advertising

The Home Depot, the world's largest home improvement retailer, announced a program to sell advertising on its Web site, homedepot.com.

With demand for online media soaring, homedepot.com will offer select vendor partners the chance to reach more than 4 million consumers each week with compelling content targeted to the home improvement customer.

Homedepot.com is a part of Home Depot Direct, a direct-to-consumer division that is a critical element of the company's plans to extend its business into new channels. Re-launched in 2003, with an expanded "know-how" section, improved functionality and enhanced online capabilities, homedepot.com offers more than 25,000 home improvement and decor items that can be shipped directly to the customer's door.
