| Mactec improves roadway in Woodstock Mactec Engineering & Consulting has been awarded a contract from the City of Woodstock, GA for concept design services to develop major roadway improvements that will keep with the direction and details specified in the city's Downtown Master Plan. Woodstock, population 17,100, was incorporated in 1897. The city is located in the southernmost part of Cherokee County, approximately 30 miles north of Atlanta and 12 miles south of Canton, the county seat.
