| Skanska to build gas pipeline in Brazil Swedish construction giant Skanska has received a contract to build a gas pipeline in Brazil. The total contract value amounts to USD 206 M, of which Skanska's share is 50 percent. The customer is Transportadora Urucú-Manaus, a subsidiary of Petrobras, the state-owned Brazilian oil company. Skanska will build the 186-kilometer section between Anama and Manaus. The project will start immediately and be completed in 21 months for the start of operation in early 2008.
